Parabola Desk Lamp
One day when I had nothing better to do I made myself a desk lamp from a steel spring and some self adhesive LED light strips, and voila, the parabola LED desk lamp was born. People noticed my lamp and said can you make one for me as well, so I made a few more, and soon it became quite annoying that I would get so many requests for these lamps, so I decided to perfect the design and go into production with it.
The lamp is powered by a standard 12V wall adaptor and gives a bright white shadow less working light.
The specs are:
Width: 800 mm
Height: 300 mm
Power: 12V DC
Current draw: < 1A
The parabolic arch is constructed from powder coated spring steel, and connects with two base plates forming the feet. One of the base plates contains a barrell connector and a switch to turn the light on and off.
Due to the different standards around the world I don't supply foreign power adaptors for the lamp, but these area readily available from any electronics store for less than $20.
