So Massimo, how could I understand if my piece of Fiestaware has depleted or natural Uranium inside if I don't have any other information about it and if I don't have another sample that surely contains DU for a comparison? Reading your old thread I thought I understood that also the 77 keV xrf peak...

Good work lehoslav! And good result as well : my lead shield is a little less than 2 cm thick, but I only got a reduction factor of 11...

I agree with you Milen, in my opinion is always better not to deal with alpha emitters that can easily crumble.
I have a small sample of Uraninite but it is under a couple of cm epoxy!
