Old lead

Hi all, a friend of mine provided me some old lead pipes, coming from an old house of the WWII times; so this lead has about 70 years and at least 3 half-life. I'm trying to build a lead castle with it, but the gross weight it's about 70/75 kg, not enough to make a "serious" shielding. So my aim is ...

These days I'm starting to collect as more informations as I can because I'm going to make my own lead castle, and I'd like to get off on the right foot.

Hi Cicastol, interesting spectra.
When you'll be ready, could you please post some spectra with the liner inside the castle?
It should be interesting compare the spectrum with and without copper, pewter, lucite (or PVC) ecc.
