Re: Some info from Berkely Nucleonics Corp.

Hi Steven, Yes your system will work to of course good to, it is a nice and simple solution and for a more hobby price . We have one Sam 935 and a Sam940 at work and it is a nice piece of equipment for sure we just use it for testing probes, we build all the detectors for BNC. I have for myself at h...

Re: Tritium spectrum

Hallo Pieter, I am not a physicist but an electronic engineer but I was always told that bremsstralung is shown as a continuum is and I see a clear peak not a continuum. I spoke with my boss(a physicist) about it and he also did not thought it was bremsstralung, but could not explain what it was. Luuk

Re: pictures of special detectors made by Scionix !

Hi Karl, I really don’t know for what these balls are used, sorry! The copper detectors are made of low background material and also the other materials inside these detectors are low background e.g. the pmt’s and glass. The steel detector are not low background. The last pictures from the large wel...

All these detectors are custom made and none standa...

Re: SiPm test

Hi Karl, I can assure you that Scionix can still make the best possible detectors in any shape, e.g. we make 1"x8" res. <7%, 3"x5"x16" again res. around 7%., 4"x4" around 6.3% etc. We are specialized in none standard detectors and make any possible shape I shall show you some pictures(soon) of what ...
