High Speed Spectrometer

Post by Sesselmann » 27 Jul 2023, 13:31

A few months ago I had a surprise visit to my workshop from Max Koshelev, he is the brain behind many of the Atom-Spectra products, we both knew of one another because we operate in the same space and sell radiation detectors and spectrometers, technically we are competitors, but honestly we are small operators in a big market.

Max has just migrated to Australia and settled in Sydney, he wants to establish a business here, so I have been helping him with the process since I was once in the same position.

Max and I have a lot in common and we have started collaborating on a few ideas which I hope will turn into cool new products, I have already listed some of his existing products on my site here. https://www.gammaspectacular.com/blue/g ... r-counters

Also listed here, is a new high speed hardware spectrometer with integral 2x2" NaI detector and can capture a gamma spectrum at a blazing 200,000 cps. It works with Ambers version of Becqmoni. This detector would be useful for experiments such as pulsed neutron sources that exhibit prompt neutron capture and gamma emission with short half life. https://www.gammaspectacular.com/blue/g ... 20-nai-max

Next month August I will be on vacation, travelling to the other side of the globe and hopefully come back inpired with lot's of new ideas.

Steven 😊
