My name is Thor K
Im a student going into making my own UV-vis Spectrometer to analyze concentrations of estradiol in water and possible removal methods. Im trying to build my own due to most equipment I have access to only dip's into the 340's nm and I require 280nm. I live in the USA in the back waters of Flordia.

Hello Thor,

Thanks for the intro. Your study sound interesting and we could possibly learn something from you, because most of us here work with gamma spectrometry, which is a few orders of magnitude shorter wavelength, but feel free to tell us what you are working on in more detail. I suggest posting in one of the more general forums.
