Hello from Milan

Postby cicastol » Wed Jul 19, 2017 9:53 pm

Hi all,
my name is Ciro from Milan, i've been following this forum for a while but decided to register only now, finding amateur gamma spectroscopy really interesting !
Hope soon to take some spectra, now i'm collecting hardware for spectrometry and building a modular lead castle!

Kind regards

Ciro

Hello Ciro,

Welcome to the forum, we are looking forward to your contributions. I agree, radiation spectrometry is interesting because it investigates the fundamental processes taking place in nature, the final frontier in science.

Thanks all for the welcome in this forum,
my preliminary tests with the Luuk detector are great, but i need to wait until next week for the modular lead castle to be ready for use and finally take some spectra not buried in the background!

Kind regards
Ciro
