Hello lovequantum,

Thanks for telling us about your cool project, but could you please start in the introductions forum, read the rules and give yourself a brief intro.

Seems like the img tags are not working, better to attach images directly.

Can,

There are a lot of designs for preamplifiers out there and everyone claims to have the better one, my approach is to keep it as simple as possible with as few parts as possible.

The CZT circuit, is it your design or was the detector prewired with the 2.2pF and 12G resistor?

Your preamplifier looks pretty simple, but what is your reasoning for using such high value components to achieve a 50 µs time constant across the inverting input/output?
