Re: Issue with 1.5" NaI:Tl detector DOA.
Connor - Glad you at least were able to get a refund, as well as end up with the broken detector to try and salvage. I think maybe you were hoping to replace the original PMT. While possible, there is an easier option to still utilize the detector without trying to remove the crystal or original PMT...

Re: Issue with 1.5" NaI:Tl detector DOA.
Hi Connor - Was the detector already opened when the seller sold it to you? Did they also claim "Resolution: excellent 6.9% FWHM @ 662 keV". I don't know how a seller can sell detectors "tested as new" when they sell them in the condition you described. Why bother opening the det...

Marco - Glad to see you’re making progress. The weather in Venice is perfect, with hardly a cloud in the sky and the temperature around 60°F. Today I feel like a Venetian… Really a perfect day! Ciao.

Hi Marco - I’m currently traveling in Italy, so sorry for the slow reply. Steven provided very good information (thanks Steven!). It would also be helpful if you provided a detailed picture of your finished voltage divider. Regards, Tom

Re: Theremino PMT adaptor board?
Hi John - I'm guessing you are already aware of the GammaSpectacular GS-Pro. It is very similar as you described "anything resembling the “PmtAudioAdapter – New version” board ... available assembled from any source...", only it is a much better product and very much improved over the Ther...
