Re: SiPM and questions
Hi,
do not remove any plastic from the SiPM, it should be epoxy resin and its function is to protect the chip.

Re: 38B57 quantitative (food) measurents
Hi Martin, yes, the short distance and the "shape" of the sample could change a lot the final calculation, I did just a try with some simple equipment and simple maths. The ideal would be a software simulation that can take into account the distance between sample and detector and also the...

Hi Martin,
I did some quantitative measurements (at least I tried) :

Re: Kr-85 Spectrum from Vacuum Tube
Hello,
I have a "Krypton" tube too !
Here you can find the spectrum with a small "bump" around 514 KeV

Hi,
if you want I have a spectrum from lanthanum 138 (NaI 63x63mm) from 100g of lanthanum oxide

Re: Problem detecting K-40
Hello, you have to run the measure for as long as you can, for example 2 or 3 hours. First take the background for three hours, you memorize it, and after that you take a measure with the sample (as much as you can, 100 g for instance), in the same chart, to have evidence of the difference. Of cours...
