Trading Post Rules

Welcome to the Trading Post.

This section exists for members to buy, sell, or trade radiation detection / spectroscopy equipment and related services. It is open to everyone, including commercial sellers and competitors, provided you post transparently and in good faith.

1) Full disclosure is required (commercial posts welcome)
If you are posting on behalf of a business (manufacturer, dealer, reseller, service provider, etc.), you must clearly state:

Who you are (name + company)
Your relationship to the item (owner, dealer, agent, affiliate, etc.)
The purpose of your post (for sale, wanted to buy, trade, seeking quotes, etc.)

If you are an individual/private seller, please still include your location and whether you can provide proof of ownership, photos, and shipping options.

2) Keep links to a minimum
Links are allowed when they genuinely help (e.g., datasheet, manual, manufacturer page, a single listing page for the actual item).
Do not post long lists of outbound links or “example products” pages. If you need to reference models, list the model numbers in plain text.

3) No SEO / promotional link building
Posts that appear to be primarily for advertising, backlinking, or “SEO” (especially those with multiple unrelated external links and minimal relevant details) are not appropriate here and will be deleted.

4) What a good Trading Post looks like
Please include as many of the following as possible:

Item / model, key specs, condition, photos
Location (country/city), shipping options
Price (or clear “WTB” / “trade” terms)
Preferred contact method (reply in thread / PM)

5) Moderator actions
Posts may be edited, moved, or removed at the moderator’s discretion. Repeat offenders may lose posting privileges.
