Sorry all, back again!

Afrer a number of months of non-use, and a new laptop, I'm struggling to get the PDS-100G to connect.

I can see it in windows bluetooth devices, which prompts for a PIN to pair, neither 0000 or 1234 seem to work, I get the message 'Incorrect pin'.

Could anyone provide me with some pointers? Thanks in advance!

Will - The BT connection issue has been discussed previously in this thread. Seems to be very spotty and prone to drop connection even after established. Make sure the PDS batteries are fully charged and that the PDS is very close to your laptop when making the connection, as this "may" help.

I also previously had issues with communication after successful pairing, which was later resolved by uninstalling the device and reinstalling it. This was also an issue reported by others here. Everything has been smooth since my initial connection issues, however I have not tried connecting the PDS to another laptop.

Many thanks Tom, I will give it another go and report back!

Incidently, I have treated myself to one of your Scionix Holland scint probes, which appears to be on it's way to me now. Looking forward to testing it out when it arrives!

Cheers,
Will

Hi I am Jerry, a new member of this forum. I’v gotten a PDS100GN and it says Bluetooth Module Failure when turning on. Anyone knows how to deal with this?

Jerry, you may try to clean up the contacts on both the battery cover and inside the instrument, most likely the BT Module failure is related to that.
