Help in finding more info about this Vintage Ortec Survey meter

Hello,

I came across this vintage Ortec Meter on Facebook Marketplace and purchased it due to its apparent rarity and coolness factor. I am wondering if anyone has any information about it.

The name of the device is the Ortec "PLUT-0" Alpha survey monitor, and it seems to come with two probes, each of which contains the same PIPs type detector. The first probe, with only one of those detectors, is alpha only, while the probe with two of those detectors is unknown to me, as it does not pick up any type of radiation source and is possibly broken.

I had sent an email to Ortec themselves, and they emailed back with a response basically saying they have no record of the device, and the only info they have is from a coworker who has been there for decades. He said that Ortec sourced them from somewhere else and slapped their brand on it. They also recommended me to pursue other hobby forums and Reddit for more information, which is quite funny but honestly understandable, but that is why I come here searching for answers :).
