Philips/Photonis XP2432 PMT & BC-720

I have two beautiful Philips/Photonis XP2432 PMTs, and one small 2.75" dia x 0.75" thick chunk of BC-720, leaving one of my PMTs feeling lonely and left out.
I have several hunks of BC-412 and BC-408 which would give me some gamma fun, but I'm in the market for fast neutrons.
I've heard that plastic scintillators, such as BC-408 & 412, are absolutely unacceptable for gamma spectroscopy - is that true in your various experiences?
And... would anyone like to trade some quantity of BC-720 for a potentially larger supply of BC-412? :)
