detector limit

Hello,
I am on the test which lower limit I still can measure. For this i use 1 grams of KCl.
I could still recognize with the 2 x 1 3/4 NaJ and see well the spec from the underground. Now I would be interested to know to which values other members with their measuring devices still are able to detect.

Hi, the 40K 1,46MeV gamma is everywhere, even with lead shield you could still detect from the ambient.
You Need another isotope for MDA calculation not a NORM .
