I purchased an Overhoff 200SB and could get no readings any where. Except after 2 rain storms both read 50 uCi/m3
This seems Like a lot of tritium. Either a Canadian reactor recently refueled or Fukashima is worse than imaginable.
Is there any way to test this meter? I won't go near a tritium source myself.

Re: Overhoff 200SB
I don't know how the device will know if the radiation is coming from tritium. If it is just a detector calibrated for tiritum, could it be possible that the radon washout from rain affects the readings?

Re: Overhoff 200SB
It says it has a discriminator. Radon in rain? Probably not. Could anyone out there be interested in hotwiring this device to a therimino for me? I would pay whatever it costs and it might be an interesting project.
