I am ditching my very old computer and since newer computers do not have a 3.5mm port for audio in, I will need an adapter for the 3.5mm jack to USB. Any suggestions? Thanks!
Steve

Steve,
You can find USB sound cards on eBay from $1.99, I tested a whole bunch of these cheap ones and most of them work okay.
For best results you can to go for more high end sound cards, but then you end up paying as much as a GS-USB-PRO, which has a good CODEC built right in.

Happy to give you a discount if you are upgrading from a GS-1100
