Hello, I thought this was an appropriate paper for this forum, since I use scintillation equipment not only to find but also to do gamma spec analyses of what I have found. Additionally, my degree is in geology with a emphasis in geochemistry. While it's a pretty technical paper, it does have some pretty pictures of uranium minerals!

Just letting you know I had a read of this paper last week, but as I am not a geologist I must admit I got a bit lost somewhere between the uranyl oxide-hydroxides and precipitated coffinite :)
Will have to read it again with a clear head..
