Hello,
My name is Sylvain and I am an engineer and researcher (my main fields are computer science and signal processing). I am interested in science in general with a particular taste for physics. I discovered X/Gamma spectroscopy with the Theremino project and since then I built drivers and assembled several detectors. I'm very interested to exchange with the community on this site.
Best,

Sylvain

Hello Sylvain,

Welcome to the forum, we look forward to your contribution. The field of amateur gamma spectrometry has matured over the last ten years and we are currently seeing a surge in new developments, both on the side of software and signal processing as well as on the hardware side. The nucleus is still holding onto some secrets which is what makes physics exiting 😉

Steven
