Hello from Lewiston South Australia

Post by Gwyddion » 25 Feb 2024, 19:15

Such an interesting forum - glad I joined.
I live on 2.5 acres in semi-rural South Australia, and have always had an interest in many areas of physics and electronics. I built my own gamma spectrometer (which I still use) around 10 years ago using a Hamamatsu R1548 photomultiplier tube and a BGO scintillator. I recently bought a radiacode RC-103, for fun and for portable use, and I'm surprised at how good it is.
Cheers

Hello ken,

Welcome to the forum. Semi rural South Australia sounds nice, although it get's pretty hot over there in summer.

Hope you find some interesting discussions to join in on.

Steven
