Hello all,
My name Charlie and I am a current university student studying mechanical engineering.

I am quite new to the gamma spectrometry world, my exposure to it come from some work I am doing for one of my university's competition teams. Though truth be told, the majority of my practical experience lies in mechanical and electrical design.

I am here primarily to expose myself to this corner of the world, see what others are working on, develop my understanding and connect with people more knowledgeable than me.

Hi Charlie,

Welcome to the forum, good to hear that you want to expand your understaning of nuclear processes, it doesn't get more fundamental than this.

Feel free to ask questions here and maybe try your hand at detecting gamma rays, talk to the guys in physics, they will no doubt be able to show you some cool experiments.

Which University are you studying at?

Steven
