Gamma Spectrometry Forum

Hi !

My name is Sébastien and I live near Lille, north of France near Belgium border.

I don't own Gamma Spectacular hardware but I am interested in all things radioactive and do some gamma spectroscopy. I relate my experiments and hardware tests on my blog (in french) : http://www.sebastien-billard.fr/tactico ... ioactivite

Until very recently I was using a 1cm³ CsI detector called Armadillo, built in japan by Mr Ohisa and now I just acquired a 25*25mm NaI detector made by RH Electronics. Big difference ! I got no science background or job (I work in web marketing - SEO), radioactivity is just one of my hobby. Since this forum is full of knowledgeable people I am happy to be part of this board :) I will probably as more questions than I will reply, but will do my best to participate when I can be helpful.

Welcome to the forum, looks like you are in the right place. I looked at your blog, and you have done some nice experiments. My french is not good enough, so i will try google translate and read it more carefully later.
