Hello from south of France

Post by Jacques » 24 Sep 2021, 17:57

Hello forum,
I live in the south of France. I am interested in many subjects including physics but also entomology and other sciences related to the environment.
I own Geiger counters. I built a cloud chamber and then naturally I became interested in gamma spectroscopy. For that I built a probe with a FEU-85 and a 30x60mm Na(Ti) crystal coupled to a rhelectronics-diy USB Spectrometry Drive and then a GS-USB-PRO.
Before posting and asking questions, to progress I will first consult the forum at length which is full of interesting information.
