Who knew uni was so stressful?! Freshman year of my geological sciences degree is complete and I finally have some free time again. I've been prepping some REE ore I collected in central Texas a couple years ago for uranium extraction; I have several hundred grams that's been ball milled to -100 mesh, and about 7 kg of material yet to be crushed. I collected 5 grams of the milled material and ran a 12 hour spectrum on it. Absolutely no surprises, uranium and thorium daughters dominate.
A year later, finally collecting spectra again (NORM)

Geoff,
Great to hear you made it through the first year, it will hopefully be easier going forward. Nice to see you back on the forum again.
Be careful with that Uranium extraction...
