I recently acquired a new specimen of torbernite from Calo, la Coruna, Spain. It’s about 60x35mm, and very hot. Attached are two pictures and the gamma spectrum showing radium and daughters.

With my Ludlum model 18 and a gm probe adjusted for 0cpm background, My Feb 2015 1uCi 133Ba source reads 0.5mR/hr. The torbernite reads 300mR/hr. Weight is around 90 grams.
