Now that my new setup is all working and stable I wanted to take some spectra with it!
This one is a ~5g sample of trinitite inside my NaI well detector.
I am not sure if I am overinterpreting the Ba peaks, and I can't exactly find the Co60, probably due to low detection efficiency at the higher energies.
The peak at ~170 keV might be just Ba133 with a higher amplitude than expected, due to the efficiency curve of my detector, but I am not sure...
Best regards

Re: Trinitite
Lukas,
Nice spectra. Interspec is quite helpful for finding peaks in a NAI spectrum.

Re: Trinitite
Nice spectrum!
Anyway, as far as Ba133 is concerned, the most prominent peaks should be at 81 keV and 356 keV. It sounds a bit strange to me that you can get the Ba133 peak at 160 keV and not the other two.
