Sorry -- the link posted previously was on a different server. It has now been mirrored

Resources for building from decompiled app here:
http://forum.rhbz.org/rd.php?https://im ... ng_res.rar

According to the members Madmax and Syph3r who have been in contact with the author of Beqmoni -- this is an open port project of the original program.
It has been tested as virus free. Furthermore you can assemble the project yourself in Visual studio 2019 from the BQ_Eng_res.rar.
This is good for those of us who might try and port this to ARM64 under linux (raspberry pi 4) or even under MacOS 10.15.3 using Mono.

Does anyone know if you can do a background subtraction in BeqMoni? I can load it in and view it on top, but its not quite as useful as a full subtraction..

Hi guys,

I checked, the from on my page still works, but I get a warning because the page is not https://.... you can override it if you trust the page.

This takes you to Version 1.0, I am not aware of any later updates.

Hi Steven.
Projects page on GitHub is: https://github.com/Am6er/BecqMoni
There are three ways to get software:
  • 1. Using Microsoft ClickOnce technique
  • 2. Direct download standalone archive from "Releases" page on Github
  • 3. Git clone sources and compile it by yourself using MS Visual Studio Community Edition 2002. If you're aware to download unsigned software from internet
About 1:
Link for Windows 10,11 and Linux(under Wine) is https://amba.cloud/becqmoni/ (with https).
Link for Windows 7 is http://amba.cloud/becqmoni/ (without https!) because MS ClickOnce on Windows 7 couldn't cache SSL content during installation. That's a MS bug and the're wount fix it.
Package install setup.exe is unsgned with MS trusted certificate, cause it costs money. I won't pay MS for this ###. So during install you need to agree with that in corresponding options.
After install BecqMoni will be available from Start menu and futher updates could be installed right from Becqmoni app with click Help -> Check for updates. This is most convinient way as for me and my friends.

About 2:
Classical BecqMoni distribution. Just download zip archive and go on. This distribution is standalone and doesn't allow to use Help -> Check for updates functional. So you need to download and migrate configs manually. This distribution good choice for offline PC's without internet access.

About 3:
Install MS Visual Studio Community Edition 2022 and download Development Kits for .NET 4.8. Git clone sources and compile it.

All new major features published on my Youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/@Am6er
Cause it's a good place to send link with new features for users, which are asked questions.

Amber,

Thanks, I will check it out and update the links on my software pages.

What do we know about the author, is he/she still maintaining the software ?

As far a i know, my friends repeatedly for a long time tried to contact the author of this app, but unfortunately without any results.
Since Jul 2021 i started to add to BecqMoni new features and fix some disturbing bugs and my friends suggests, what features could be added to BecqMoni.

Was the original software open source? How did you get the source code?

Hi Guys,

I am no expert on Windows software, and I am not qualified to check the authenticity of this cloned version of BQM, therefore I won't endorse it on my website until we have some more feedback from other users. Just being cautious...

Love to hear from anyone who has installed it and used it.

Steven
