Hei...
Just released version 3.0.9.....
New Feature
In this version I have added a new isotope library with gamma data from 400 isotopes, and created a function that allows users to create synthetic comparison spectra. When correctly calibrated the synthetically generated spectrum shows all the lines in the right place. I imagine this will be helpful for peak identification.
Unlike the old version of Impulse, this version does not store 400 spectrum files, instead it looks up a small database of isotope energies and generates a synthetic spectrum to match the number of bins/channels you are using.
The isotope table is a simple json file and lives in the user data directory ~/ImpulseQtData/lib/ . The old library directories "/lib/tbl" and "/lib/iso" are now deprecated and can be deleted.
Bug fixes
As always we encounter some bugs and find functions that can be improved, made simpler or even better "deleted". Nothing more satisfying than deleting lines of code that aren't needed.
