the last post is what i did indeed. It would indeed overwrite all kinds of stuff.
Its nice that you got a response however, and if they would not have a payed developer account the old app would not be on there so thats a bit of hope. (apple pulls the apps of unpayed accounts from the appstore).
Lets hope a new version gets released someday.

I tried to push my friends phone backup to my iCloud, because of the phone are different (he is using iphone 7 or 8, not plus), and it is not compatible with mine. I think even if I got the same model, I cannot backup from that as well because I feel like every backup have a unique id that only applies to one phone.

Yeah, that's my last hope as well. Let's see.

I had a chance to test geiger bot with one of the newer iPad Pros while in Vancouver on Friday and I can confirm that Geigerbot works provided you have a USB-C audio input cable plugged in before you start the program.

The only issue I saw with this program is the lack of updated screen orientation.

I am so exited to say that IOS 13 allows no-reason microphone access and gives full control to the user. So yeah, under IOS 13 I can use the Geigerbot finally! After I tried it, I feel like the pulse training is not right. Maybe it's on me, don't know how to set the parameters.

That sounds like good news indeed. I just updated my iPhone, but sadly it only went to version 12.4.1 so maybe the phone is too old.

Geigerbot can be quite tricky to set up, you need to get the gain and the pulse height threshold correct before doing the pulse training.

Try selecting the Gammaspectacular probe, that should get you close.

Fortunately the App Geigerbot is now working since the IOS was upgraded and i have microphone permission now.
I was glad and excited but somehow i cannot set the parameters well, i struggeld all the day and it does not work!
I have GS 2812 and as far as i know i have the fitting cable between I Pad and gamma spectometer - having bought from Steven-, so the system should be working, but unfortunately not.
I know the App is tricky but i need further information ,maybe anyone here is able to explain it to me going into details.
