A nice hello to all,
my name is Gerd, I'm from Mannheim in Germany. I've always been fascinated by physics / chemistry and driven to more or less successful experiments.
Radioactivity has always fascinated me, making the little one somehow visible.
Languages are not my strength (maybe C, C ++, Java excepted) that's why I use Google Translate to write, reading is again easier for me.
I hope that is acceptable, if not ask please.
Greetings Gerd

Hello Gerd,
Welcome to the forum... communication should work, I can read and understand German, but very bad at writing and speaking, so if you can read and understand English we will have a perfect conversation. My C++ is also very rusty.

Hi Gerd and welcome. At last I am not "the newest member" anymore. :)
Wish I could use Google translate for C++, that would help. As for German I'll just ask my daughter to translate. :p
