Large SiPm array test

Post by luuk » 03 May 2018, 06:47

Don't know what is wrong so I shall try to upload it again.

Hi guys,

Because I have my work at Scionix Holland b.v. a nice project with large SiPm array’s I would like to show you what is possible when you build a detector with it.
I know that because of the price it is not real an amateur project but I do think that you might find it interesting to read about it.
Interested? please read the attachment.

Luuk,

Thanks for posting, very impressive indeed, just look at that incredible separation on the Co60 spectrum.

I must get some SIPM units and have a play with them, I can think of several uses for this.

Hi Steven,

Please remember that the resolution is only because of the CeBr3 crystal on a good selected pmt it would give 3.6%@662KeV.
But the SiPm's are nice to play with if you want to make a small portable device, a array of 4 SiPm's is nice and still “affordable”.
