Hi
I have got an old Canberra HV unit type 3105D, without the corresponding NIM BIN voltage supply.
Power supply should feed +/- 6V, +/- 12 V and +/- 24 V
My question:
Has anyone for me the schematic layout of 3105D and/or the identification of the plug connections ?
I found pin 34 (ground) , pins 10+11 and pins 16+17.
Waiting for soon response,
Willem
Canberra HV-3105D- NIMBIN questions
Re: Canberra HV-3105D- NIMBIN questions
I am responding 7 years later. I think that may be a record.
For anyone else in the future who may be looking for schematics to the Canberra high voltage boards: good luck, I an't get them to answer emails at all.
The forum at www.fusor.net has a NIM reference section with the pinout of the backplane complely defined.

Re: Canberra HV-3105D- NIMBIN questions
To add to the record posting delay, there's a manual for the 3105 on http://www.nuclearphysicslab.com/npl/wp ... Supply.pdf which includes a circuit schematic.
I'm not sure what might be different between the 3105 and 3105D, though.
But yes, I'd look to a generic NIM pinout rather than the module schematics to find which the power rails are (also be aware most modules only use a handful of the pins - especially there was a tendency to avoid 6V rails as these don't exist on all NIMbins)
