Re: Introduction to BeqMoni
Karl,
I know Becqmoni is one of your favourite programs, and you have more experience using it than most people, especially when it comes to the section where you measure activity in a sample.
It would be very useful if you made a screen recording, demonstrating the setup, calibration and essential features of the program.
Please give it some consideration.

Re: Introduction to BeqMoni
Another good thing with BeqMoni, apart from that it is free, is that it doesn't install on your computer -you just run it. This also means (and I recommend this) you can have several copies going. I have several going, on that I used only for the detector I used for activity quantification. For playing around/testing, I use another copy of the software and in this way I don't risk messing up anything important.

Re: Introduction to BeqMoni
As I understand it, the old post does not work any longer.
Due to questions recieved on how to setup BM, I just post a screenshot of my settings here, to be vieiwed as a starting point. These settings need to be fine-tuned to your system, and will depend on (at least) on:
*Noise of your PMT
* Noise of your sound card
* What your detector actually can see (for a standard NaI detector, it should be no problem to see down to 20 keV or so, if noise levels are good)

You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

New version of BeqMoni available here:
This version is decompiled for use in Mono-frameworks and MS Visual Basic 2019 ( you can roll your own app)
-- The completed app --- also available in the link, has a new connection protocol for the new AtomSpectra serial connection for high speed A/D.
