Those of you who know me well, know that I'm always working on a side-project. My current side-project has nothing to do with radiation detection which is why I post here in "the Lounge".
Some time ago I had an idea for an online publication which unlike facebook and twitter retains articles in a more ordered and searchable structure. The problem I have with a lot of social media is that interesting articles disappear in the jetstream never to be seen again. My solution to this problem was to create a page that consists of a single news column with articles and ads, that freezes and moves to the left on the release of every edition - this way all history would be accessible by either swiping left or down.
I built the site and have only had it up a couple of weeks. It needs a lot more content, but I rely on volunteers to write some articles in the beginning.
There is a science section, but articles need to be of interest to the general public and written accordingly. So if anyone reading, likes writing articles (on any topic) why not set up a writer account and give it a go.
Feel free to have loook, try scrolling backwards and let me know what you think of the format - it's still a work in progress.
