Here is my Thorium Spectrum. I modified Leadhenge and put a roof on it.
Then I put the Scionix probe and a rear element from a Pentax 105mm f/2.4 Takumar lens inside.

This is what the element looks like.
The "tea" color is typical of vintage lenses containing Thorium glass.
Lens designers used Thorium glass for its refractive index to make faster lenses (gather more light).

Pretty neat spectrum, this is with or without shiedling the background?

Manuel,

My shielding is lead ingots and I get a little over a factor of 10 reduction of background.
