I need help - soundcard

Post by Peter-1 » 27 Dec 2017, 04:10

First , A happy new year.

I have a new PC with WIN 7 64bit and also a new sound card. The motherboard is GA-B250M-D3H. Unfortunately, I am not satisfied with the built-in sound card and looking for a new internal card. Who has a council for a card with the 192 kHz sampling rate. The S/N should also be good. The card may cost up to 150 euro.

I really, really like my Asus Xonar DGX sound card. I haven't used it above 96kHz, but it is a full 192kHz card. It's surprisingly affordable at only $90 US. It gives a great pulse shape, but is a negative card, so you'll have to put a - in front of your height threshold in PRA. Works as is with Theremino.

Here are some comparisons between sample rates with this card. 60 second 133Ba for each sample.
