3D Analysis of Shielding

Some of you might find this interesting..

I recently redesigned the GS-STANDUP-20 as it was difficult to manufacture.

The difficult part was fitting a copper and tin lining to the 90K elbow, so I figured it may as well be straight. In any case I wanted to try and model how it might perform, so I created a 3D CAD model of the lead shielding geometry in Fusion 360 and assigned a translucent medium to it, I then added the geometry of a 2" crystal inside the cavity and assigned a light source to it, as if the crystal itself was a source of light.

Using the Fusion 360 photorealistic rendering, I adjusted the external lighting to zero and started the rendering. After an hour of processing it rendered this image.
