Am a transplant from the old forum. Had to change my user name because of 5 to 20 char limit. Arrrggghh.
Hope the transition goes well for everyone.

Neil,
Great to see there are some early adapters, sorry about the username, but let's hope the other features make up for it.

Steven,
Just playing with you a bit about the name :) All I had to do was add an inconspicuous period at the end. Maybe Karl will want to do likewise. Everyone can just assume it is a speck on their screen.
Anyway, I am sure this will relieve you of much grief and life will be better. I moderate on a board which uses a system which just seems to have grown piece by piece without much coordination and it is a real mess to work with. I appreciate the effort you spent keeping the problems hidden from the users.

Hi Neil,
Sorry about the username; I now changed it so it can be between 3-30 characters. I did not have a problem when registering, but then again I used my last name :)
I also think that this new forum format will be alot better with less issues and more possibilities. Layout is nice and has a very effective and user friendly interface also, with which most are familiar so the learning curve should be minimal.

Re: Hello on New Forum
Greetings Karl,
Not a problem about the period, in fact, it makes my user name a bit distinctive.
