X-Ray Scintillation Detector with 2.0 x 0.1" NaI(Tl) Crystal
This detector has a thin NaI(Tl) crystal measuring 2.0" x 0.1" (51 x 2.5 mm) it has 100% efficiency in the low energy x-ray region and virtually blind to higher energy gamma..
The crystal is hermetically encapsulated and has a thin 0.2 mm Beryllium window for x-ray transparency. Whilst being ably to detect low energy x-rays, it should be noted that the energy resolution below 100 keV is not great.
